Our showroom in New York is the fulfillment of a dream cherished by an entrepreneur from Hamburg. Hellmut Wempe launched the international expansion of his family-owned company in 1980 by opening a compact showroom on Fifth Avenue. Today we are still located on the world’s best-known shopping street — but now we have a striking presence at Fifth Avenue at 55th, occupying 5500 sqft. of the ground level of the Hotel Peninsula. We swear by the US philosophy “Nothing is impossible.” My team and I captivate local and international customers alike with our outstanding range of services and informal hospitality.
